GUERREIRO FAMILY · EAST TIMOR
Living the mission.
Transforming generations.
Since 2013, José and Sandra Guerreiro have been serving in Timor-Leste, sharing the Gospel and promoting holistic transformation in communities.

LIMAN BA MORIS · HANDS FOR LIFE
Cultivating dignity. Generating opportunities.
The main project of the Guerreiro Family.
Liman ba Moris — Hands for Life is a social enterprise based on Business as a Mission (BAM), focused on the economic and community development of families in Maubisse.
Through sustainable agriculture, training, and marketing of local products, the project strengthens producers, creates income-generating opportunities, and develops relationships that pave the way for holistic transformation.

Why Maubisse?
More than 8,000 people.
A direct missionary presence.
This is not just a statistic. It's an urgent call to action.
In the mountains of East Timor,Maubisse brings together thousands of people in communities marked by their distance from major centers and by social and economic challenges . In this context, the missionary presence takes on a dimension that goes beyond isolated actions: it meansliving among the people, building relationships, and walking with the community over the years .
In Maubisse, this commitment becomes especially relevant because of the possibility of establishing a continuous and close Christian presence within the communities.More than 8,000 people live in the region reached by this work , making each partnership, prayer, and initiative an opportunity to contribute to a transformation that can last for generations.
Being in Maubisse is more than just carrying out projects. It’s about staying, serving, and training people so that transformation continues from within the community itself.

IMPACT IN MAUBISSE

Beauty, work, and relationships that transform.
An initiative led by Sandra Guerreiro that transforms local flowers into opportunities for work, creativity, skills development, and networking.
Using dried and skeletonized flowers in decorative pieces and arrangements, Flor de Maubisse empowers local women, creates income-generating opportunities, and provides space for fellowship, discipleship, and Christian witness.

After about six years at the previous site, the project begins its move to Lao-Hein, in Horaik-Quik. In nine days, almost the entire structure is dismantled.
